Vrångö is a car-free island in the southern Gothenburg archipelago. To reach Saltholmen, take tram 11 or bus 114. Both run from central Gothenburg to the ferry terminal at Saltholmen, where you’ll transfer to an archipelago ferry. Ferries depart almost hourly, and the boat ride to Vrångö takes about 30 minutes. Your public transport ticket also covers the ferry ride.
Plan your trip easily using the Västtrafik To Go app or their journey planner. If you’re arriving by car, there’s long-term parking available at Långedrag, a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal. A helpful tip: drop off your luggage and passengers at the terminal first, then park your car and either walk back or hop on tram line 11 for the final stretch!
