As the last outpost in a series of islands in Gothenburg’s archipelago, you reach Vrångö. This car-free island is perfect for those looking for a genuine archipelago conference at a close distance from Gothenburg, but with a secluded location at the outermost strip of sea. We are open all year round, and you can easily get here by ferry from Saltholmen. After only half an hour you reach the quay at Vrångö, where we meet you. You can get to Saltholmen by tram, bus or car, and the ferries run all year round, even during the winter when the archipelago is at its most peaceful.

If you're looking for a secluded location far from the hustle and bustle of the city, we welcome you to car-free Vrångö, located at the far end of the archipelago. Here, you can be completely on your own in the heart of the archipelago, with cliffs, beaches, the sea, and island life as a natural part of your experience.
Whether it's a kickoff with colleagues or a celebration with friends, we dare say Kajkanten's sauna raft is perfect for an after-work by the sea. Enjoy the wood-fired sauna, hot tub, and a dip in the sea.
Take the boat to Vrångö and enjoy a festive Christmas evening by the sea. On December 4th, 5th & 6th, the harbor restaurant Lotsen serves up a generous traditional Swedish Christmas buffet in their glass veranda overlooking the harbor. Make the evening extra special by combining it with a sauna session!
