Easter and Plogging

There’s a buzz of activity on our little island right now! Easter is just around the corner, and on Vrångö, we celebrate it in traditional style – with little (and not-so-little) witches running from house to house. The grand finale? The Easter bonfire on the hilltop, with an open view of the horizon! The local youth have spent months gathering pallets, pine trees and twigs, and when the fire is finally lit in the evening, it’s always a joyful and festive moment.

In addition to Easter, we’re busy planning our annual Plogging and Beach Clean-up Day, which this year takes place on May 17th!
We hope you will join us for a meaningful and fun day as we clean up the beautiful beaches of Vrångö from litter and plastic waste.
We’ll wrap up the day with a joint hot dog barbecue (hosted by Kajkanten, of course!) and a prize draw for everyone who takes part!
In the prize pool you’ll find gift cards from Icebug, Hamnkrogen Lotsen, Restaurang Ternan, and Kajkanten.
