Spring on Vrångö

You can feel it in every part of your body – spring has arrived on Vrångö! The sun warms the docks, jackets come off as quickly as sunglasses go on, and the crisp sea air carries the scent of salt and seaweed. The oystercatchers have already landed, calling out their arrival across bays and beaches, while the gulls screech over the boats in the harbor.

Along the island’s walking trails and hiking paths, liverworts unfold their petals, while crocuses shine like tiny bursts of colorful fireworks along the house walls.

As evening approaches, the sky transforms into a canvas of pink, orange, and purple. A light mist wraps the archipelago in a dreamy glow, and the sea sparkles in the soft light. Vrångö feels like a place in constant motion, where nature guides us into a new season.

Now we long for more days outdoors, for salt-kissed boat trips, long walks along the cliffs, and evenings by the sauna raft. Spring is here – and with it come new adventures, both big and small!
