Lobster Fishing Package with a Cozy Seafood Evening at Hamnkrogen Lotsen
Welcome to a salty experience in the southernmost archipelago of Gothenburg, featuring lobster fishing and a cosy evening at the harbour restaurant Hamnkrogen Lotsen with live troubadour music.
Our own local archipelago fisherman, Mattias, will pick you up in the fishing boat Glittskär at Vrångö harbour and take you out to sea to haul lobster pots, while sharing fascinating stories about the history of fishing in the area. Weather permitting, there may also be a landing on the Tistlarna islands.
After a couple of hours, the boat returns to Kajkanten, where you can enjoy some time to relax on your own before seafood and lobster are served at the waterside restaurant Hamnkrogen Lotsen, just a stone’s throw from your boathouse.

LOBSTER SEASON OPENING
Have you ever been on a small island on the West Coast during the first weeks of September? Then you know the frantic activity going on… Boats, lines, traps, wool sweaters, packed lunches, bait (or “kubemad,” as our dear fisherman friends call it) are all being prepared, because lobster fishing is about to begin! The first Monday after September 20th marks the start, and it’s almost impossible for everyone to get out through the harbor entrance with the rush that happens. Want to be part of this almost mythical ritual? Then book the best autumn experience!
Please note: We reserve the right to cancel due to bad weather or insufficient bookings (minimum 4 people per boat tour). We will inform you if the lobster fishing tour must be canceled.
