Easter on Vrångö means wonderful outdoor experiences as we celebrate the arrival of spring and enjoy the warming sunshine. On Easter Saturday evening, a large Easter bonfire is lit with a stunning view of the entire archipelago, where all the islanders gather to celebrate the start of Easter – a magical moment as darkness falls. You can also join a scenic boat tour with our own Vrångö skipper, an experience that takes you out to the outer archipelago with a landing at the lighthouse station on Tistlarna.
What could be more delightful than soaking up some much-needed spring sunshine from a warm south-facing wall in the archipelago? Hamnkrogen Lotsen is open during the Easter weekend, and taking a break with something delicious to eat and drink on the outdoor terrace is a long-awaited experience after the winter.
If you choose to visit us on Good Friday, you have the opportunity to join the Easter walk, a quiz walk through the Vrångöskärgården nature reserve that ends with barbequed hot dogs. It is suitable for all ages and a nice way to walk around the island.
