Archipelago tour to Tistlarna at Easter or Lobster fishing?
Join us on a boat trip to the very edge of the archipelago. Mattias, our very own skipper from Vrångö, operates boat trips all year round from the harbour in Vrångö, just a short walk from Kajkanten Hotel.
During Easter, we offer guided archipelago boat trips with a short stop ashore on Tistlarna. In October our much-anticipated lobster fishing trips return.
If you are a group of 4–12 people, you can also make a request for a private boat trip on a day and at a time that suits you.
Lobster fishing tour
For anyone looking for an authentic West Coast experience in autumn, lobster fishing is something you definitely won’t want to miss. The annual lobster season begins on the first Monday after 20 September – a truly unique tradition on Sweden’s West Coast.
If you are fascinated by the legendary lobster fishing traditions of the Swedish West Coast and want to experience hauling up the pots and discovering the sea’s “black gold” for yourself, we offer lobster fishing trips on most Saturdays in October.
The easiest way to book is with our lobster fishing package, including accommodation at Kajkanten, for the complete West Coast experience.
Archipelago tour to Tistlarna – boat trip
Mattias from Glittskär, an experienced fisherman and skipper from Vrångö, will take you on a guided boat trip to Tistlarna.
Join us for an unforgettable excursion to this uninhabited group of islands and lighthouse station, located at the very edge of the archipelago.
The next scheduled trip departs on Easter Saturday 2027.
