Archipelago tour to Tistlarna, seal safari, or lobster fishing?
Join Us for a Boat Trip to the Outer Archipelago Mattias, our very own Vrångö skipper, organizes boat trips year-round from Vrångö Harbour, just a short walk from Kajkanten Hotel. During the summer, you can join a swimming excursion to Tistlarna, giving you a few hours to enjoy the sun, swim, and explore this unique island on your own. In spring and autumn, guided archipelago tours are offered, including short landings on Tistlarna or seal safaris, where you can observe seals from the boat. In October and November, the highly anticipated lobster fishing trips return.
For groups of 4–12 people, private trips can also be arranged on a day and time of your choice.
Lobster fishing tour
For those seeking an authentic West Coast experience this autumn, lobster fishing is something you definitely don’t want to miss. The annual lobster season opens on the first Monday after September 20th – a truly unique day on the West Coast.
If you’re fascinated by the legendary lobster fishing tradition and want to take part in hauling up the sea’s black gold yourself, we offer lobster fishing trips on most Saturdays in October. The easiest way to enjoy the full experience is by booking our lobster fishing package with overnight stay at Kajkanten.
Archipelago tour to Tistlarna – boat trip
Mattias, skipper and experienced fisherman from Vrångö, will take you on a guided boat trip to Tistlarna. Experience an unforgettable excursion to this uninhabited archipelago and lighthouse at the outer edge of the archipelago. A picnic basket is included!

Seal Safari – a true sea adventure by boat
Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure at sea? Join us on a unique tour to the outer archipelago and discover the seals around the Tistlarna islets. During this guided boat trip, you’ll get the chance to get close to nature and see the seals in their natural habitat.
