SEA KAYAKING

We rent kayaks from May to October. Vrångö is at the far end of the archipelago and from here you can reach uninhabited islands and islands with unique nature. Starting from Vrångö, you don’t have to worry about ferry traffic, as this is the southernmost and last of all the islands. If you are in Gothenburg, take the ferry from Saltholmen to Vrångö to start your paddling. The kayak rental includes kayak, paddle, spray skirt, life jacket and map of the area.

Kayaking on your own

Kayaks are available for rent from Kajkanten, located in Vrångö harbor. We make sure you have all the equipment you need for your paddle adventure. We prefer that you contact us a day in advance to book, so we can recommend a time when the weather is calm. Payment is made on-site at the Kajkanten reception.

Kayaking as a group activity

Kayaking to one of the uninhabited islands outside Vrångö is a highly appreciated conference activity. Here, you can enjoy lunch together, go for a swim, and combine the day with a seaweed safari or a beach cleanup.

We, as rental providers, know the archipelago and its islands well. Before you set off, we always give tips on suitable routes. Wind strength and direction are important factors to consider. You will also receive instructions on paddling.
