From Sea to Table with Karolina Martinson

A flavour-filled weekend on Vrångö with seaweed foraging, baking traditions, creative cooking and a shared dinner.

Welcome to a spring weekend of taste and discovery on Vrångö. We begin at a gentle pace on Friday evening with a warming, wood-fired sauna – the perfect way to unwind after the journey.

On Saturday, Karolina leads us to the sea and shoreline to explore nature’s coastal pantry. Together we discover edible seaweed, enjoy coffee by the water, and continue to the island’s traditional bakehouse, where we bake Vrångökakaflavoured with seaweed.

The weekend concludes around a shared dinner table, where Karolina creates a creative and seasonal meal inspired by the sea. Local ingredients take centre stage as spring finds its way onto the plate.
