As it darkens on Easter Eve, a magical Easter bonfire is lit with a view of the entire archipelago and all the islanders meet to celebrate Easter with a joint gathering around the fire. When Easter comes, it is also time to enjoy the first rays of spring sun. Take the opportunity to book a boathouse at Kajkanten for a few days on Vrångö. What could be sweeter than lapping up some much-needed spring sun from a warming south-facing wall in the archipelago. Hamnkrogen Lotsen is open during the Easter weekend and taking a break with something good to eat and drink at the outdoor terrace is a long-awaited experience after winter.
If you choose to visit us on Good Friday, you have the opportunity to join the Easter walk, a quiz walk through the Vrångöskärgården nature reserve that ends with barbequed hot dogs. It is suitable for all ages and a nice way to walk around the island.
