This summer, we’re looking for new team members to join Kajkanten Vrångö, a small, family-run apartment hotel located in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg. We are a close-knit team who truly care about each other – and about creating warm, memorable experiences for our guests.
Your days with us will be varied. You’ll help prepare our boathouse apartments for arriving guests, take care of the sauna and hot tub, rent out kayaks and be available to assist guests with questions, directions, ferry timetables and practical matters. You’ll be our friendly face – the one who makes guests feel welcome and at home.
We’re looking for someone who is cheerful, energetic and service-minded, who enjoys meeting people and helping others. You’re a team player, attentive and comfortable taking initiative. Previous experience is a plus, but not required – your attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most to us. We want everyone at Kajkanten to feel good at work and proud to be part of our team.
Kajkanten offers eleven boathouse apartments, as well as conferences, guided tours, kayak rentals and a floating sauna. Our guests come from all over the world, and our high ratings on Tripadvisor reflect our shared focus on quality and service. We are also proud to be Green Key certified, and sustainability is a natural part of everything we do.
Car-free Vrångö is easily reached by ferry from Saltholmen in about 30 minutes, using the same ticket as for trams and buses in Gothenburg. From the ferry terminal, it’s a short ten-minute walk to Kajkanten. Living on Vrångö, Donsö or Styrsö is an advantage.
