In Vrångö, there is a year-round grocery store, Tempo, which, despite its small size, has a range that offers most things. The store is only 75 meters from Kajkanten and here you can buy what you might miss during your stay. Next to Kajkanten is also the charming Hamnkrogen Lotsen, which serves fish dishes and the archipelago’s best seafood. There are also lunch dishes, beer and wine here. Vrångö can also brag about its own fish shop, so if you prefer to cook dinner yourself, you can buy seafood and fresh fish here.
When you arrive in Vrångö and get off the ferry, you will also find the summer restaurant Ternan, which offers well-prepared food, coffee and ice cream. The restaurant is also open on some spring and autumn weekends, and in December a very well-prepared Swedish julbord is served.
Keep track of opening hours on the restaurants’ own websites. If they are closed when you visit us, there is always the option of pre-ordering dinner and a breakfast basket delivered directly to your boathouse.
Take a stroll down the pier to our closest neighbor, Hamnkrogen Lotsen. The restaurant also runs its own fish shop, and the rustic setting of the glass veranda in the middle of the harbor offers a truly authentic West Coast experience. Håkan and other staff at Kajkanten are fantastic - nice, hospitable and helpful! They also helped us rent a venue where everyone could gather for celebrations. An absolutely fantastic cozy and nice accommodation in Gothenburg's southern archipelago. We are very satisfied and would love to come back. All comfort was in the small boathouse. Vrångö is so nice. Nice visit to Hamnkrogen Lotsen with super tasty seafood. Caring and friendly staff.
