Kajkanten is a small, friendly workplace on Vrångö in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg. We are a small apartment hotel where everyone knows each other. We care about our guests, the environment and making sure that you enjoy working with us too.
We are looking for someone who would like to work with us throughout the year. Some periods are busier than others, with more shifts available at certain times of the year. Working with us is easy to combine with other commitments, and we hope to find someone who enjoys archipelago life, likes meeting people and wants to be part of a small team where everyone helps each other.
You will be responsible for cleaning our accommodation and relax raft. Your tasks will include making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and making sure our boathouses are clean, tidy and welcoming for the next guests.
You will work largely on your own, so you need to be able to plan and carry out your tasks independently.
The work is mainly connected to guest arrivals and departures, so the number of shifts can vary from week to week throughout the year. We have a greater need for staff during weekends and holidays, and especially during the summer. The work is usually during the daytime, although some shifts may also take place in the evening. We do our best to find working hours that suit both the business and you.
In addition to our recurring staffing needs, there may be an opportunity for more regular work for the right person.

• service-minded and have an eye for detail
• reliable and flexible
• comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
No previous hotel experience is required – for us, the right person and the right attitude are what matter most!
As Kajkanten is located on Vrångö, you need to be able to get to and from work easily. We would ideally like you to live on one of the islands or have a commute that works well with our working hours.
