Easter Package - Enjoy the weekend on Vrångö

Easter bonfire, boat trip to Tistlarna and a seafood box with smoked salmon, prawns and herring delivered to your own boathouse.

When the first rays of spring sunshine warm the rocks and the sea begins to sparkle with new life, we invite you to spend a long Easter weekend in the archipelago.

On Easter Eve, you’re welcome to join a springtime boat trip out to sea. The boat Glitthav takes you all the way to the outer archipelago, with a short stop on the beautiful islands of Tistlarna. Feel the salty sea breeze and keep an eye out for seals in the glittering waters – the boat tour is included in the Easter package.

For dinner on Easter Eve, Hamnkrogen Lotsen delivers a seafood box filled with Easter specialties such as home-smoked salmon, pickled herring, prawns and other local delicacies – all served to your own boathouse. The evening ends with a short walk to the impressive Easter bonfire – a cherished local tradition where the whole island gathers in the glow of the flames to celebrate the arrival of spring.

If you’re arriving already on Maundy Thursday (Skärtorsdagen) or early on Good Friday (Långfredagen), you’re welcome to join a quiz walk and sausage grilling – a much-loved family tradition bringing together islanders and guests for a scenic walk through the nature reserve. On Friday evening, a generous prawn sandwich awaits you for dinner – perhaps best enjoyed outdoors as you soak up the first evening sun of spring from your private terrace.

Hamnkrogen Lotsen is open for lunch throughout the Easter weekend – perfect if you’d like to enjoy something tasty to eat or drink on the jetty during the holiday days.

Mattias from Glittskär – skipper and experienced fisherman on Vrångö – will take you on a memorable boat trip to Tistlarna. The excursion goes to this uninhabited island group and lighthouse at the very edge of the archipelago. Along the way, you’ll pass outer skerries where seals often bask in the spring sunshine.
The tour departs from Vrångö Harbour, just a short walk from Kajkanten, at 13:30 on Easter Eve and lasts for a couple of hours.

EXTRA NIGHT
If you’d like to arrive earlier – perhaps already on Maundy Thursday – or stay on through Easter Monday, you can add an extra night for your entire party for only SEK 1,000 per boathouse, subject to availability.
