Meals for our conference guests

Lunch with a sea view and seafood dinner with the best of what the sea has to offer

Seafood is part of the dining experience when you visit Vrångö. At Hamnkrogen Lotsen’s charming veranda, a stone’s throw from Kajkanten, fresh seafood or a fish dish can be enjoyed with the best sea view. Breakfast and lunch are also served here. When the evening is chilly and the sea winds blow, the table is set in the veranda, a rustic atmosphere with the authentic West Coast feel. For the small conference group, we recommend a very own seafood evening on the sauna raft. In this case, the seafood dinner is delivered directly to you on the raft and you set the table for your own meal and bring your own drinks.
The island also has Restaurant Ternan, which presents an innovative and varied menu. The restaurant is open from early summer to late autumn and has a good location near the ferry.

Hamnkrogen Lotsen and Restaurant Ternan have rights to serve alcohol. When you book your conference with us, you will receive a proposal for a conference menu that best suits your particular conference. We plan the conference menu together with the restaurants and in dialogue with you.

Cooking can also be a team-building activity

It is also appreciated to make cooking a team-building activity and to prepare one’s own meal. We help with smaller purchases and orders if you wish. Outside Kajkanten there are charcoal grills that can be used all year round, it is also possible to prepare a simple meal on the relaxation raft or in another venue on the island. If you want to take part in a unique cooking course with outdoor cooking, we recommend that you book a cooking activity with food creator Karolina Martinson. A dining experience where seaweed, algae and self-picked beach plants play the main role.

Some groups also choose to have lunch on an uninhabited island in the archipelago off Vrångö. We have kayaks for rent and such an activity can turn into an unforgettable memory.

There are always options

For those who are intolerant to something, there are always alternatives and given the small scale that prevails on Vrångö, we are always keen to discuss any food deviations before arrival. The restaurants are small and the delivery times for special purchases are longer than in the city.
