Cold water swimming at Vrångö

Swim all your round

All seasons are beautiful in their own way, each month has its charm and the sea offers swimming all year round. If you like cold swimming during the winter months, we recommend the following three swimming spots. Our tip is to never swim alone or to take unnecessary risks.

DJUPVIK For a cold swim in winter, we recommend a dip from Djupvik’s jetty. Here there is a bathing ladder that is available all year round.

KOHALLA If you venture into a rock bath, there are smooth rock outcrops at Kohalla. The bathing ladder is in the water some time into the autumn and you will find the place on the other side of the mountain from the pilot house.

THE SAUNA RAFT If you want to be warm from inside-out before taking a dip in the sea, we recommend that you rent the sauna raft for wood-fired saunas and sea bathing. In winter, it is located next to your accommodation on Kajkanten and during the summer months in the outer harbour. Read more here
