– We use 100% renewable electricity, energy-saving lighting and have routines for reduced energy consumption.
– We heat our hotel with geothermal energy.
– We have taken initiatives to reduce water consumption.
About Green Key
Green Key is an international environmental label for facilities in the hospitality and tourism industry that is run internationally by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). Globally, over 3,000 facilities in over 65 countries are eco-labeled with Green Key. The label is run internationally by the Foundation for Environmental Education, which is supported by e.g. UNEP, UNESCO and the World Tourism Organization.
Today, there are over 170 Green Key-labelled facilities in Sweden and several large chains are connected to the label. The organization Green Key Sweden runs the eco label nationally. Mandatory external checks are carried out continuously to ensure that the criteria are complied with.
