Join junk picker wave that is spreading like wildfire across the world. Now we clean the beaches from caps, plastic bags, ropes and other rubbish that has blown ashore on Vrångö’s beaches and have a plogga day. We jog, walk or sneak along and pick up litter at the same time. Come join us and make a difference. On site are, among other things, beach picking professionals from the Västkuststiftelsen and divers from Hands 2 Ocean. With the help of the divers, it will be cleaned under the water surface and you who want to be a rope puller will be needed. Become an environmental hero too, now we do it together.

Presentation of the day – on site include the West Coast Foundation, Hands 2 Ocean, the City Environmental Administration and Gothenburg’s Marine Biological Laboratory.The Västkuststiftelsen distributes sacks, picking sticks and gloves and gives tips on where and how to find rubbish using the Strandstädarkartan. If you have your own tools and gloves, you are welcome to bring them.

The Västkuststiftelsen coordinates beach cleaning along the entire west coast from Kungsbacka in the south to Strömstad in the north. The foundation's tool Strandstädarkartan is available to help everyone. The Västkuststiftelsen participates in Plogga Day on May 4.
Hands 2 Ocean is a non-profit association that originally went by the name Rena Mälaren. With around 300 volunteers, Hands 2 Ocean cleans above and below the water surface. Hands 2 Ocean participates in Plogga Day on May 4 in Vrångö.
Plogga is a growing organization where you pick up trash and jog. With the help of ambassadors, Plogga has developed into a fun and educational platform that engages multitudes of people in a wave of litter pickers worldwide. Kajkanten is a Plogga-certified company.
Kajkanten's employees are really passionate about giving their guests a great experience. Started with a guided tour with Håkan who told us about Vrångö and its history. The pilots delivered wonderful seafood to the party on the relaxation raft. A unique experience!

An absolutely fantastic cozy and nice accommodation in Gothenburg's southern archipelago. We are very satisfied and would love to come back. All comfort was in the small boathouse. Vrångö is so nice. Nice visit to Hamnkrogen Lotsen with super tasty seafood. Caring and friendly staff.
