Thanks to a number of enthusiastic partners, we can once again hold the beach clean-up day on Vrångö.
Together with you, we’re doing it again! Thanks to the enthusiastic energy and support from various partners, we’re all set for this year’s Ploggaday on May 17th, ready to clean Vrångö’s beaches. We’ve invited individuals, organizations, associations, and businesses to join us. Here you can read more about the organizations that have chosen to contribute to Ploggaday 2025 in various ways:
Västkuststiftelsen, with its commitment, knowledge, and educational elements about beach cleaning, participates in and inspires us to organize the beach cleanup day. They also provide equipment.
Göteborg City, Urban Environment Administration, participates with the Beach Cleaning Boat and also provides bags and tools.
GMBL Björn Källström from the Göteborg Marine Biological Laboratory will participate in Ploggadagen and share insights about ongoing projects in the Gothenburg archipelago.
Algblomman Karolina Martinson will participate in Ploggadagen and share insights about ongoing projects related to blue nutrition.
ICEBUG is sponsoring with 3 gift cards worth 500 SEK each for this year’s award ceremony.

Kajkanten's employees are really passionate about giving their guests a great experience. Started with a guided tour with Håkan who told us about Vrångö and its history. The pilots delivered wonderful seafood to the party on the relaxation raft. A unique experience!

Första gången vi besökte Vrångö blev vi så förälskade att vi bestämde oss för att ta med närmsta släkt och vänner och gifta oss där. Vilket vi gjorde nu i augusti. The whole gang lived in Kajkanten's lake cabins, which are very cozy and have exactly what you need for a weekend in the archipelago. Håkan and other staff at Kajkanten are fantastic - nice, hospitable and helpful! They also helped us rent a venue where everyone could gather for celebrations. Fantastic weekend in the archipelago!
An absolutely fantastic cozy and nice accommodation in Gothenburg's southern archipelago. We are very satisfied and would love to come back. All comfort was in the small boathouse. Vrångö is so nice. Nice visit to Hamnkrogen Lotsen with super tasty seafood. Caring and friendly staff.
