Midsummer Package – Celebrate the Weekend on Vrångö
Three days filled with festivities, dancing, and Midsummer celebrations
If you want to experience a traditional Swedish Midsummer with dancing around the maypole and a lively seaside festival, we invite you to enjoy a wonderful long weekend on Vrångö.
We start already on Thursday, June 18, and those who wish can help decorate the maypole with leaves and flowers. A shrimp sandwich will be delivered to your own boathouse for a perfect first summer evening on the patio outside your accommodation. On Midsummer’s Eve, the main festivities begin, featuring entertainment, dancing, and games. The guest harbor fills with boats, and the whole island glows with bunting and flowers. Join in the dancing around the maypole or enjoy the singing and festivities from your patio at Kajkanten. In the evening, all the island’s restaurants are open for those who want to continue celebrating.
During the weekend, there is also plenty of time to explore the island’s nature, swim from the cliffs, and enjoy good food and drinks at Hamnkrogen Lotsen or Restaurang Ternan – both open throughout the Midsummer weekend.
On Sunday, check-out is at 11:00. Make the most of your last day with a hike or a dip in the sea before heading home!
Midsummer Package, Thursday June 18 – Sunday June 21
– Three nights in a boathouse, Thursday–Sunday, check-in from 3 PM on Thursday
– Breakfast basket delivered to your boathouse on the first evening (can be booked for the other days as well)
– Shrimp sandwich delivered to your boathouse, Thursday between 5–6 PM
– Help decorate the maypole, Thursday from 5 PM
– Midsummer celebration on June 19 with dancing around the maypole, Friday from 3 PM
