Stay in a large boathouse

When you book accommodation at Kajkanten, you will stay in a boathouse apartment, very close to the sea and in the middle of the genuine archipelago settlement in Vrångö Harbor. All boathouses have a patio on the wooden deck directly adjacent to the accommodation. In most of our large cabins there are 2 double beds (140cm) and 3 single beds, a private bathroom with shower and toilet and a kitchenette. Full kitchen equipment, refrigerator with freezer compartment and stove and microwave. All cabins have Wi-fi and TV with standard selection. Sheets and towels are always included. Some of our large boathouses face the genuine buildings remaining towards the harbor.
How many people in each boathouse?
A large boathouse is suitable for those of you traveling as a family or small group. When you book accommodation with us, you decide yourself how many people will live in each boathouse, some guests appreciate separate accommodation and others don’t mind living together. The apartments are open-plan and the high ceiling height makes them feel spacious, 3-4 people can fit comfortably in a large boathouse. If you are looking for an affordable alternative or are a large family, it also works well to have more people in each boathouse, but a maximum of 7 people. There are 5 beds in a large boathouse, of which 2 of the beds are double beds, 140cm wide.
The price of the boathouse is related to the number of overnight guests per boathouse.
Sheets and towels
Sheets and towels are included when you book accommodation at Kajkanten. We present this to you and you make your bed yourself. If you come as a conference group, we will make a bed for you
Order meals and cook your own food
All boathouses have a fridge with freezer compartment and a kitchenette with a stove with extractor hood and microwave (no regular oven). The grocery shop, which is open daily all year round, is next door to Kajkanten’s hotel. You can also order seafood and prepared meals for your stay delivered to your boathouse. There is some coffee, tea, salt and pepper in your boathouse that you are welcome to use during your stay. We have also prepared with washing-up liquid and simpler equipment for hand washing. Outside the boat shed there are barbecues that are free to use all year round, barbecue charcoal can be bought in the shop next to the hotel.
Travel with children
Children under the age of 3 come along for free, older children are charged the regular price per bed. If you are traveling with a small child, let us know, and we will arrange a high chair and cot. During school holidays we offer advantageous family packages, keep an eye on the website.
Are pets allowed?
In most of our boathouses pets are welcome, you pay a small pet supplement for this. However, no dogs are allowed inside the sauna raft. Please let us know if you are bringing pets when you make your reservation.
