A season to look forward to!<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

September crept up around the corner, like someone casually dropping by for a cup of coffee.<\/p>

It was summer. It was August. And suddenly, it wasn\u2019t anymore.<\/p>

Few months are filled with quite as many conflicting feelings as September. Some of us cling stubbornly to summer, reluctant to let go. Others have been ready since June turned into July, happily pulling out their knitted jumpers, tugging their hats down over their ears and stepping eagerly into the new season.<\/p>

Here, we see no reason to rush things. On the islands, we wrap a scarf around our necks in the morning and take off our jumper by lunchtime. September is allowed to be both summer and autumn at the same time. And that\u2019s perfectly fine.<\/p>

We\u2019re looking forward to lobster fishing, crayfish parties and bioluminescent seas, but we also know there are still plenty of swims left to enjoy before autumn really arrives!<\/p>

So we take September exactly as it comes. One day at a time, one season at a time.<\/p>

But autumn on Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6 is far from uneventful<\/p>

Even though the summer visitors are starting to head home and the pace of life on the island slows down a little, there is still plenty happening on Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6. In fact, this might just be when the archipelago is at its best for those who want to experience its quieter side.<\/p>

Together with our wonderful partners, we\u2019ve put together several lovely packages, activities and experiences for the autumn season. So whether you want to head out to sea, explore the island on foot, do something fun with the family or simply escape everyday life for a while, there are plenty of reasons to hop on the ferry and come our way.<\/p>

\ud83d\udeb6 Hiking Day<\/a> \u2013 discover Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6 on foot with Karolina Martinson!<\/p>

Autumn and hiking simply belong together. Hiking Day is an initiative started by Svenska Turistf\u00f6reninge<\/a>n (the Swedish Tourist Association), and this year you have the opportunity to join a fascinating seaweed walk along the shores of Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6.<\/p>

For around two hours, you\u2019ll get the chance to learn more about the treasures of the shoreline and discover what lies beneath the surface. And of course, there will also be a delicious seaweed fika, with plenty of samples to taste!<\/p>

\ud83e\udd9e Lobster Fishing<\/a> \u2013 a true autumn classic<\/p>

And then, of course, comes one of the highlights of the season for many islanders: lobster fishing.<\/p>

When lobster season begins, the archipelago changes. The pots go into the sea, the boats get busy, and conversations suddenly revolve very much around weather, wind and the catch of the day.<\/p>

For anyone wanting to experience lobster fishing up close, autumn is a wonderful time to visit Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6. There\u2019s something quite special about heading out to sea after summer is over, before returning to the island and enjoying something delicious together.<\/p>

\ud83c\udf41 Autumn Holidays<\/a> on Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6<\/p>

Autumn holidays don\u2019t have to mean busy schedules, queues and a thousand things to fit in.<\/p>

On Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6, an autumn break can be a walk by the sea, a fika in the harbour, exploring the island and perhaps a warm bath or some time in our sauna raft when the wind starts to whistle around the corners.<\/p>

We\u2019ve put together a special autumn holiday package for families who want to get away for a few days and turn autumn into a little adventure.<\/p>

\ud83e\uddd8 Yoga Retreat<\/a> \u2013 time to slow down<\/p>

And sometimes, that\u2019s exactly what we need: time to slow down and simply be.<\/p>

This autumn, we\u2019re hosting a yoga retreat together with Emma, where yoga, fresh sea air, good food and the archipelago surroundings take centre stage.<\/p>

It\u2019s the kind of experience that feels especially right when autumn starts to creep in. A few days without musts or shoulds, with time to move your body, breathe a little deeper and hopefully return home with more energy than when you arrived.<\/p>

Autumn might just be the archipelago\u2019s most underrated season<\/p>

We love summer. We really do.<\/p>

But there\u2019s something quite special about Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6 when August turns into September and the long, bright evenings slowly give way to misty mornings and evenings that make you want to light a few candles.<\/p>

This is when you might have an entire swimming spot almost to yourself. When the sea can be perfectly calm one day and wild the next. When you can go for a long walk without breaking a sweat, then return, pull a blanket over your legs and enjoy something delicious.<\/p>

This is when the archipelago gets to show you another side of itself.<\/p>

So no, we don\u2019t actually think it\u2019s all that sad that summer is over.<\/p>

Not quite yet, anyway.<\/p>

First, we\u2019re going swimming a little while longer. Then we\u2019ll go lobster fishing, enjoy a crayfish party, look for bioluminescence and make the most of autumn.<\/p>

Welcome to Vr\u00e5ng\u00f6 this autumn.<\/p>
