The sun is warming the docks, the seaweed carries its salty scent, and every ferry arriving in the harbor brings vacationers with swimsuits, strollers, picnic baskets \u2013 and that unmistakable sparkle of anticipation. We love this time of year \u2013 when our little island is alive with laughter, ice cream breaks, and evening swims.<\/p><p data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"834\">At Kajkanten, we\u2019re busy welcoming summer guests, but we\u2019re also quietly starting to plan for the autumn \u2013 an equally wonderful season in the archipelago. The air turns crisp, the pace slows down, and there\u2019s room for both rest and discovery. Here are a few things we\u2019re looking forward to:<\/p><p data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"1115\"><strong data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"870\">Hiking Day \u2013 September 13<\/strong><br data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"873\" \/>An initiative by the Swedish Tourist Association (STF) to inspire more people to explore nature on foot. We\u2019re proud to co-host this day together with <strong data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1038\">Algblomman<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1055\">Glitthav<\/strong> \u2013 a celebration of hiking, flavors, and island inspiration.<\/p><p data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1377\"><strong data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1142\">Lobster season begins<\/strong><br data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1145\" \/>Join our local fisherman at sea and experience the luxury of autumn in the archipelago \u2013 lobster fishing and a seaside dinner at <strong data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1295\">Hamnkrogen Lotsen<\/strong>. For an extra treat, add a warming sauna session on our beautiful sauna raft!<\/p><p data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1555\"><strong data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1403\">Autumn retreat at Kajkanten<\/strong><br data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1406\" \/>Our new autumn offer, perfect for slowing down. Enjoy the sauna, cold dips, calm island days and some extra peace before the holiday season kicks in.<\/p><p data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1766\"><strong data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1591\">Summer boat tours to Tistlarna<\/strong><br data-start=\"1591\" data-end=\"1594\" \/>During the summer, we offer trips to the beautiful Tistlarna islands \u2013 a dream for swimmers and nature lovers alike. Crystal-clear water, rugged rocks, and total stillness.<\/p><p data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"2042\">We know it can be hard to find available dates online during the summer \u2013 especially when things start to book up.
