Advent and Christmas time in the archipelago is something very special, so cozy and genuine. The ones who book this Christmas offer will get to experience a Vrångö dressed for winter! Go by ferry from Saltholmen and get off at Vrångö, the southernmost of the islands in the Gothenburg archipelago. A short walk across the island, past Christmas-decorated old houses, brings you to Kajkanten for check-in in warm and welcoming boat houses where you will stay overnight. When you’ve had a chance to relax and take in the atmosphere, you go for a walk towards restaurant Ternan for warming mulled wine and a well-prepared Christmas table with herring and seafood in the West Coast style and everything else that belongs to Christmas. After a lovlely meal, ending with coffee and sweet treats, you can look foorward to a starry sky walk back towards Vrångö Harbour, before it’s time to crawl into bed in your own boathouse.
If you choose to book Friday – Sunday and stay two nights, Hamnkrogen Lotsen will be knocking on the door on Friday evening to deliver fresh seafood for you to enjoy on your own in your boathouse. Breakfast baskets are also delivered to your boathouse so that you can start the next day at your own pace. Welcome to an unforgettable Christmas!
If you want to book the sauna raft for a wood-fired sauna, hot tub and a healthy dip in the salty sea, make a request when you email and we will get back to you with a price and availability.
Booking conditions
Check-in takes place from 3 pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out no later than 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
Luggage can be left free for storage before check-in, from 10 am, and left after check-out until 5 pm.
An advance of SEK 750 is charged at the time of booking.
